Mika Sue Boorem (born August 18, 1987) is an American actress, director and producer. She is known for her roles in such films as Hearts in Atlantis (2001), Blue Crush (2002), Sleepover (2004) and Augusta, Gone (2006).

Boorem was born in Tucson, Arizona, the daughter of Holly Sue (née Thomas) and Benjamin Melvin Boorem. Boorem was raised on a ranch surrounded by Saguaro National Park East just outside of Tucson, Arizona. The 40 acre X-9 ranch can only be accessed by a ten mile dirt road. The X9 Ranch in the foothills of the Rincon Mountains surrounds the Rincon Creek and its Sonoran Desert hardwood riparian habitat. In addition to living in Tucson, Boorem's family had a home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Boorem has said that living in these South Western artist driven communities has influenced her work.

Mika Boorem is an actress, director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. Boorem began directing and producing plays in 2010. Boorem is best known for her acting career that began in 1994. Boorem began acting in local theater in Arizona, and subsequently moved to Los Angeles with her family, where she attended Lycée Français de Los Angeles. She has built up a respectable filmography. Boorem has worked under many of the industry’s most highly regarded players; Lawrence Bender, Brian Grazer, Penny Marshall, Scott Hicks, Drew Barrymore, Shirley Maclaine, Roland Emmerich, John Carpenter, Rodrigo Garcia, Mel Gibson, Anthony Hopkins, Lee Tamahori and Morgan Freeman to name a few. Her work has received critical acclaim and she has been nominated for several awards.
